Sakshi Trust "RTI"

KDSS, a NGO in Khandwa M.P, had been interested in RTI since a long time so they conducted a workshop for their staff  in Khandwa last month. The result of this was a lot of excitement and belief that finally there was some hope to sort out the several issues that the NGO coordinators were facing when addressing the problems of their community.

Coordinators were asked during the workshop how they could use RTI and several issues came up. The most significant of them were the non distribution of old age pension to widows, improper implementation of mid-day meals in schools, and misappropriation of money of rural employment schemes. It was then proposed that a more concentrated programme be conducted on a village to village basis to sort out these issues.

The first programme started on 1st October and went on till 7th of October wherein several blocks of Khandwa district were covered. We look forward to your support in these endeavours.
