Training people on RTI can help you bring about a cleaner and more responsive government, earning you the respect and leadership of the community you work with.

Sakshi Trust’s RTI Training Module has so far trained 3000 citizens across Karnataka, Goa, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, from middle-class urban citizens to people in villages in the districts of Karnataka. The training methodology receives positive feedback from trainees and many have taken a step forward in using the Act with regard to issues that concern them.

The Act has already made a difference to the lives of countless citizens. Your country needs you to step forward in spreading this revolution further for a clean and responsive government.

The RTI Training Kit includes:

Ÿ   RTI Presentation CD (English/Kannada/Tamil): Contains all the information on RTI on how to organize trainings with sample Training Proposals, presentation, manual material, movies and much more.

Ÿ   RTI Presenter Sheets (English/Kannada/Tamil): These A3 colour presenter sheets contain a complete presentation on RTI. They are useful when carrying out trainings in rural areas where you have no access to a computer.

Ÿ   Training Manual (English/Kannada/Tamil): Contains instructions regarding what you need to say while presenting every slide. There are also other guides on how to organise a training, how to conduct a training, how to control the crowd and more.

Ÿ Handouts (English/Kannada/Tamil): Contains a brief and important introduction to RTI so that people know what the Act is about. It also gives your contact details so that people can get in touch with you.

Ÿ   Feedback Cards (English/Kannda/Tamill): Contains 100 feedback cards, which are to be distributed to the participants at the end of the training. They can fill in their contact details so that you can stay in constant touch with them and update them on the current happenings on RTI, and they can give you feedback on how you conducted the training.
